Apostle Sharon Louise Belin was born on March 19, 1964, to the late Mr. Alfred Dingle and Mrs. Henrietta Nesbitt. Pastor Belin is blessed with three wonderful children: Angus, Terrina, & Steven, her daughter-in-love Ashley, six beautiful grandchildren, Shamell, Braxton, Julian, Gabrielle, Nadia, Angus Jr, and numerous spiritual children.
Apostle Belin was educated in the Charleston County Public Schools. She continued her education at Charleston Nursing & Rehab Center and went on later to receive her Clinical Associate Training in Nursing from MUSC, Patient Care Technician Certification and Associate in Arts Degree in Pre-Nursing from Trident Technical College. In 2013, Apostle Belin obtained her Associate’s Degree in Theology from Alpha & Omega Bible College. Sharon has pursued her nursing career for over 16 years until she retired from the Medical University Department of Family Medicine in 2004. After retirement, she pursued her Independent Home Health Services until she received the call from God to pursue full-time ministry.
Apostle Belin gave her life to the Lord in 1984. As her life transitioned, Apostle Belin held membership at Greater Beard Chapel AME Church where she served on the Junior Usher Board, Sunbeam Choir, Senior Usher Board Treasurer, and Missionary Education Department President. During her youth, while attending Greater Beard Chapel, she became affiliated with the Reformed House of God Church (now Christian Praise & Worship Center) from June 1996 until August 1999 serving actively with their Women's Ministry. Upon receiving instructions from God, Apostle Belin joined Living Word Ministries in August 1999, and served on the Praise & Worship Ministry, Choir, Praise Dance Ministry, Hospitality Committee President, Taught bible study & Sunday school, and also ministered the Word of God. On June 1, 2005 while under the ministry, Sharon was ordained and licensed as an Evangelist.
On May 27, 2010, God gave birth to the Women of Brokenness Ministries, a ministry for women used to bring forth healing, deliverance, hope and encouragement for women of all ages. In 2010, Apostle Belin presented the 1st WOB Retreat (held every other year) and our Men of Brokenness Ministry was also birthed in September 2014.
Along with all of the many achievements accomplished by Apostle Belin, one accomplishment reigns supreme: She is a servant of God!!
